Not really. App cabs are rare in Srinagar and don't do day trips to Gulmarg or Pahalgam. Most visitors book a private taxi for the whole day, which is what we do.
A sedan starts at ₹2,500 a day, an Innova or Ertiga at ₹3,300, and an Innova Crysta at ₹4,500. Fuel, driver and tolls are included.
To a hotel or houseboat in Srinagar: ₹1,200 in a sedan, ₹1,500 in an Innova and ₹2,000 in a Tempo Traveller.
Yes, up to 60 days ahead. For April–June and the snow season (Dec–Feb), booking early is a good idea because cars fill up.
